Olympic Central Area

Olympic central area is located in the northern end of the axis of the city, showing the millennium culture, the centennial Olympic dream, and the new scenes of Beijing. This area covers 315 hectares, where locates quite a few landmark buildings for the Beijing Olympics, such as the Bird's Nest (National Olympic Stadium), the Water Cube (National Aquatics Center), National Stadium, China National Convention Centre, and the Olympic Forest Park.

To the east of the axis of this area, there is the Sinking Garden, an open space for concentrated display of China's long history and cultural traditions. The garden is 9 meters underground, made up of 7 series courtyards. Its design philosophy is "Un-forbidden City", which comes from the most representative of the Forbidden City and quadrangle dwellings.



Xin'ao Shopping Center locates to the east the Sinking Garden. It is a shopping mall integrating entertainment, cultural exchange, shopping and dining, and theme experience. It is a good place for ChinaSIP 2013 attendees to have meals and enjoy shopping and entertainments.
